Photographs of the First Albin 27 Ever Built
The photographs below are reportedly construction photos of the first Albin 27s ever made. Some time in 1982, naval architect and boat builder Joe Puccia was contracted by Fred Peterson (owner of Albin Marine USA) to create a sub-30-foot diesel cruiser that would appeal to the American market. The original boat was inspired by the very successful Swedish Albin 25.
